Pine Cree Feedlot

In 2001, an interested group from the Shaunavon area formed to look into a beef feedlot assisted by Cypress Hills Regional Economic Development Authority. The business concept of Pine Cree Cattle Company Inc. is to build a commercial size efficient feedlot that will take advantage of local low cost feed supplies and feeder cattle to generate significant long-term profits for the investors and economic benefits for the region.

2009 Community Survey Results

This spring the Shaunavon EDC office sent out economic surveys to the community. The results have been compiled and a report is available to the public. Thank you to those who took the time to respond.

Survey Says.....

The Shaunavon Economic Development Committee conducted a communitee survey in 2009. The survey stated many ideas for businesses in the community. An example would be the community identifying the need for a Hardware Store. A Hardware Store was #1 on the list.
