Parks & Recreation

Parks and Recreation Services play an important role in our community. We operate a number of  facilities and parks to enhance the quality of life of residents and visitors alike. Recreation is defined as a refreshment of one's mind or body through activity that amuses or stimulates play.

We hope that the programs, services and facilities offered by the Town of Shaunavon and community groups will faclitate your recreation!

The Director of Parks and Recreation Office is located in the Town Office, 401 3rd St. W.

Wickenheiser Centre

Presently under construction this new facility is named after one of Shaunavon's hockey heroes, Hayley Wickenheiser. Once completed, this recreational centre will house a skating rink, a four sheet curling rink as well will be utilized in the off season for programs and rentals.

Jubilee Arena

Jubilee Arena has been the hub of winter activity for many years. From October to March the roar of the crowds are heard as they cheer on their hockey teams, whether big or little.
