HONK! HONK! HONK! That’s right! It’s a street bingo! The 400 block of Centre Street along with the Co-op parking lot, will be the site of the 2nd Annual Grand Coteau Street Bingo. For those of you unfamiliar with this phenomenon, here’s the basics: you carpool together with friends and family, find a parking spot at the above mentioned location, purchase bingo cards from our friendly workers at the north entrance gate, then listen for numbers over the outdoor p.a. system. When you have a bingo, you HONK! A card checker will come to your car to check for a confirmed bingo to see if you’ve won a cash prize! We’re giving away $500 total prizes. It’s gonna be great! Refreshments will be available for sale prior to and during intermission. A 50/50 draw will also take place. P.S. Bring your bingo dabbers! (No worries, we’ll have those for sale too.) A limited number of non-automobile seats will be available in front of the museum.
Funds raised throughout the day will be used for museum programming and towards the digitization of the collection of Shaunavon Standards, so that information dating back to 1913 can more easily be researched by staff and public alike.
