Horse Show

 Shaunavon’s Annual Horse Show

held the second weekend of August annually

at the Ron Winquist Arena
(approx. 4 kms West of Shaunavon on Hwy. 13 - just West of Rock Creek Golf & Country Club)

The Shaunavon Horse Show is presented annually by the Shaunavon Admiral Ag Society. This two day lighthorse show challenges riders to perform in multiple categories including:

• Halter Classes
• Reining
• Gymkhana
• Showmanship
• Trail
• English
• Western
• Pleasure equitation and perfomance
• Lead line - walk and trot for ages 5 and under

The classes are made up of multiple age groups including a Junior A, ages 11 & under; Junior B, ages 12 to 14;  Junior C, ages 15 to 18 as well as Pee Wee ages 8 & under.
