Sewer: System: Lagoon; Treatment: 1 primary and 2 secondary cells
Water rate is $22.65 per month; Sewer rate is $15.45 per month; Environmental fee is $8.00 per month

WATER & SEWER - COMMERCIAL:
Commercial combined rate is $37.00 per month, plus $8.00 environmental fee. Over minimum rate is $5.60 per 1000 gallons or part thereof.

GARBAGE PICK UP:
RESIDENTIAL
   Weekly pick-up
   Monday - All residential areas east of Centre St.
   Thursday- All residential areas west of Centre St.
COMMERCIAL, INDUSTRIAL & INSTITUTIONAL
   Up to three times per week

COMPOST:
Compostable items are to be taken to the compost area located behind Christ The King Church which is located on 5th St. East.
Items to be composted include:  grass clippings, sod, leaves, and garden refuse.
Branches are NOT to be left at the compost area, they are accepted at the landfill at no cost.
DO NOT leave garbage at this site.

Paper and cardboard are be taken to the Sarcan recycling depot. Please ensure cardboard boxes are empty, with N0 plastic or styrofoam inside. If you are dropping off paper, please have it bagged or in a cardboard box as it is all hand sorted.
Tin Cans and glass must be washed with labels removed - recycle bins for these items are in the lot south of the SarCan Depot.
Computers, monitors, printers, scanners, mouses, televisions, household paint, aerosal paint, milk cartons (all sizes of plastic or paper) metal beverage cans, plastic & glass bottles as well as juice boxes are to be taken into the Sarcan Recycling during business hours.  Please remove and discard all lids.
Oil, oil filters and oil containers are be recycled at the Eco Centre located at the Ability Centre - 395 7th St. W.  from April 1 to October 31, Monday to Friday, between the hours of 1:00p.m.-4:00p.m.
SARCAN Shaunavon Recycling Depot will be taking electronics between 9:30 a.m. and 4:30 p.m. on Wednesdays only. Please do not bring electronics on other days. Do not drop off any electronics when the Depot is closed.
