Summer Reading Program

Once a week from July to mid August.  Registration is free and on a drop in basis. Season finale is a performance by a children's entertainer.
Kids Corner
A fun early literacy program is in place for preschool children.  An hour is spent reading stories and poetry, singing and playing on Tuesdays at 10:30 from September to June. All children welcome to this free drop in program when accompanied by a parent or adult caregiver.
Computers and the Internet

Community Access - Public welcome to drop in and use one of our 4 computers to check email, surf the net for information, search library catalogues or use applications such as word processing.

Free Wireless Internet Service - Bring your wireless enabled laptop to access this service.

Beginner Computer Users
Interactive, instructional computer program Tools for Today installed on some of the computers.  The program is designed to give a basic understanding of computers, their applications, the internet and email.
We host Writer's Readings whenever possible.
