Halloween Hunt!

Presenting Shaunavon’s 2021 HALLOWEEN HUNT!!

Shaunavon’s Halloween Hunt will run from October 29 to 31, 2021. Solve the clues to find all of the Halloween Pictures for a Chance to Win one of THREE PRIZES!

Interested in playing? Get your Game Card either by visiting the Grand Coteau Heritage and Cultural Centre or the Wellness & Leisure Office in person, or download the Game Card online at https://www.shaunavon.com/gchcc/ or https://www.shaunavon.com/page/wellness-leisure/

HOW TO PLAY:

Print your name and phone number on your Game Card.

Follow the Clues which will guide you to local buildings that have a Halloween Hunt poster in their window.

  • CLUE #1 is on the Game Card (see above) and will lead you to the building with a poster in the window that has the first Halloween Picture in the hunt and the next Clue. Find the matching Halloween Picture on the Game Card and mark the #1 in the box where the Halloween Picture appears on the Game Card.
  • Follow the Clue to find the building displaying the poster with the second Halloween Picture in the hunt and the next Clue. Find the matching Halloween Picture on the Game Card and mark the #2 in the box where that Halloween Picture appears on the Game Card.
  • Repeat until you have found all of the Halloween Pictures in the correct order. The last clue will let you know where to drop off your completed Game Card.

Three winners will be chosen by draw from all correct entries received!

On Tuesday May 28th and Wednesday May 29th Public Works will be doing routine hydrant flushing in Shaunavon. Shaunavon’s fire hydrants are connected to the potable drinking water system, where hydrant flushing is performed twice a year to remove any settled sediment, contributing to the Town of Shaunavon’s Water Quality Improvement Strategy.

Shaunavon’s 2024 MARKET AT THE MUSEUM will be starting on Saturday, July 6 and will run every Saturday from 9:30 am to Noon until September 14 on the front lawn of the Grand Coteau Heritage and Cultural Centre, 440 Centre Street. We would like to make the public aware that Associate Appraisers from Saskatchewan Assessment Management Agency (SAMA) will be in Shaunavon periodically between May 1 to October 31 2024, to perform their reinspection program. Please note they will be present on Tuesday May 14th and Thursday May 16th in Shaunavon. The appraisers will be travelling in a marked SAMA vehicle and will have a SAMA ID on at all times.
