On Tuesday May 28th and Wednesday May 29th Public Works will be doing routine hydrant flushing in Shaunavon. Shaunavon’s fire hydrants are connected to the potable drinking water system, where hydrant flushing is performed twice a year to remove any settled sediment, contributing to the Town of Shaunavon’s Water Quality Improvement Strategy.
Shaunavon’s Mayor, Councillors and Chief Administrative Officer were joined by Minister Everett Hindley and MLA Doug Steele on Friday September 23rd to tour the Shaunavon Union Hospital and discuss Saskatchewan’s new 4-point plan to recruit and retain healthcare workers.
