Shaunavon District Fire & Rescue Fire Fighters will come and get your items and haul them away at no cost! A MESSAGE FROM MAYOR & COUNCIL “With the recent adoption of the 2024 Budget, we are proud to announce the approval of an operating budget of $5,854,178 and $1,067,501 in capital expenditures, with a net property tax levy requirement of $2,213,683.

The Town of Shaunavon will be pursuing efforts in managing gopher populations this spring to decrease negative impacts of gophers which includes land/property damage, disease transmission, and walking hazards. To accomplish this, Rozol (a grain-treated pesticide) will be placed in bait stations where gopher ingestion of the grain-fed pesticide will cause extermination a few days later.

The Town of Shaunavon believes the safety and wellbeing of our children is essential, and works closely with our local RCMP to provide safety initiatives and execute programs to educate and promote safety in our community! At the April 2nd Council meeting, Council proclaimed May 12th to 18th, 2024 as Bicycle Safety Week in the Town of Shaunavon!
