On Tuesday May 28th and Wednesday May 29th Public Works will be doing routine hydrant flushing in Shaunavon. Shaunavon’s fire hydrants are connected to the potable drinking water system, where hydrant flushing is performed twice a year to remove any settled sediment, contributing to the Town of Shaunavon’s Water Quality Improvement Strategy.
DATE CHANGE - COMMUNITY CLEAN UP MONDAY MAY 15
We are looking for volunteers to help us clean up our community green spaces to showcase how beautiful Shaunavon is as the weather warms up! This includes the parks, walking trails, campgrounds and any other places that need a good clean-up!
The clean-up will take place on Monday May 15th, beginning at two different times throughout the day:
- The morning clean-up will begin at the CPWC at 10:00 am
- The evening clean-up will begin at the Randy Surjik Memorial Amphitheater at 6:00 pm.
Clean-up supplies and designated areas of clean-up will be provided at each location. Lets keep our community looking beautiful!
If you have any questions about any of the programs, please do not hesitate to contact the Wellness & Leisure Office at 306-297-3029 or by email at recreation.shaunavon@sasktel.net
Thank you ahead of time to all the volunteers who join in cleaning up our community!
