Shaunavon’s first year taking part in the Wellness Challenge was a huge success!! Congratulations to SHAUNAVON FIRE & FAMILY who were the winning team with the highest average points of 242.6! Their team will win the team prize of a value of $250 to put towards any physical activity or health program.
Please be advised that the Town Office and Shaunavon Wellness & Leisure will be CLOSED on December 25th, 26th, and January 1st. We will be open regular hours from December 27th-29th in order to capture as many tax payments prior to year end as possible.
*NOTE that there will be a 12% penalty added to all unpaid tax accounts on January 1st. Please ensure that payments are RECEIVED IN OFFICE BY December 29th to avoid the penalty. NOTE GARBAGE COLLECTION during the holidays will be as follows: December 25th - No garbage collection December 27th - Eastside garbage collection January 1st - No garbage collection January 2nd - Eastside garbage collection Westside Garbage Collection is unaffected by these hours and will proceed on Thursdays as usual (For any Town-related Emergencies such as water & sewer issues, barricades for disaster situations or other emergencies related to public works, please call 306-297-3636). The Grand Coteau Heritage and Cultural Centre will be closed December 22nd at 3pm to January 2nd, inclusive. Regular hours will resume Jan 3rd at 9am. Thank you for your patience and cooperation.
