SaskLotteries Community Grant Program 2023 Applications OPEN - DUE APRIL 17, 2023

  • Submit your application to the Wellness and Leisure Committee at recreation.shaunavon@sasktel.net with a financial statement from your organization from your most current yearend.
  • Applicants must fully and legibly complete the application form. Complete the project description and other required information on the application form.
  • Local organizations are notified regarding the status of their application.
  • Applicants proceeding with programs: Saskatchewan Lotteries must be acknowledged in advertising & programming (Call the Rec. Office for FREE promotional materials).
  • Applicants must consult with the Recreation Office if a change of project is necessary. Only expenses approved in the initial application are eligible.
  • Applicants must complete project follow-up reports, attach receipts to verify their expenditures and attach a sample of how SK Lotteries was acknowledged. Grant cheques will be issued to the organization by the Wellness & Leisure Committee, once the follow-up report and supporting documents have been submitted. 2023 follow-ups must be submitted by April 29th, 2024.

The budget was approved with an operating budget of $4,992,724 and $2,433,327 in capital expenditures, with a net property tax levy requirement of $2,163,209.

WHAT DOES THIS WORKSHOP OFFER? This Grant Writing workshop offers basic tips, techniques, and processes to help you best apply for grants for your community or organization.

The staff follow a list of locations in priority sequence in the event that a HEAVY snowfall occurs where it limits mobility. Drop In Badminton League
March 14, 2023

Mondays from 6PM - 8PM at the Shaunavon Public School Gym. This program will begin Monday March 20th and will run until the end of April. This is a FREE drop-in league for Ages 16+. Please bring your own racquet if possible (extra racquets will be available if required). If you have any questions, please contact the Wellness & Leisure Office at recreation.
