Join us at Memorial Park / Randy Surjik Memorial Amphitheatre on Wednesday June 7th for our Taste of Me Time wrap up event! Everyone is welcome to come and participate in any of these fun, free activities - or if you’d rather just come by to watch and hangout in the park, that’s welcome too!

Last Friday, Town of Shaunavon and Province of Saskatchewan officials gathered at the corner of Third Avenue and 1st Street West to announce the first ever impacted site in the province to receive support from the Impacted Sites Fund. The Town of Shaunavon acquired the abandoned property in tax arrears in 2022.

Registration opens Friday May 19th at noon for the After School Program!! This program will run throughout the month of June, starting June 6th, and will take place at 3:30- 4:30 Tuesday and Wednesday. This program is free of charge for students from kindergarten to Grade 7. Parents must PRE-REGISTER their child in their preferred sessions because spots are limited, therefore registration will take place on a first come first-served basis!

Head on down to Berg’s Home Furnishings on Thursday May 25, 2023 from 11:00am - 1:00pm for a FREE community BBQ, provided by Access Communications! They will be serving up hotdogs and hamburgers to say thank you for the support from our community. We hope to see you there!

Age Friendly Shaunavon has set up a volunteer based Senior Garbage Pick Up on Saturday May 27th in coordination with the Town’s Free Garbage Transfer Weekend! Seniors can phone the Senior Resource Coordinator at (306) 294-7653 prior to May 27 to book a time slot during the hours of 9am to 12pm, and a volunteer will pick up any garbage items and haul them to the Free Garbage Transfer site.
