SAVE THE DATE - GOGREEN 2024

GoGreen is an annual event held in Shaunavon with a goal to beautify our community and minimize our carbon footprint. The Town of Shaunavon and Stark & Marsh are thrilled to announce GoGreen 2024 is taking place Friday, September 20th and we need YOUR help to beautify our community!

Registration in advance is required and will commence on September 5th and conclude on September 13th. Learn more about the event at https://www.starkmarsh.com/gogreenshaunavon/ and check back soon for registration!

We also are inviting the community to the BBQ lunch on GoGreen from 12-1pm! BBQ will be by donation with proceeds going to a local group (GoGreen volunteers eat for free).

Meet at the Randy Surjik Memorial Amphitheater at 6:30 pm.

The Town of Shaunavon is pleased to welcome Blaze Larson as our new Chief Administrative Officer (CAO) in Training! Originally from Shaunavon, Blaze brings valuable knowledge of our community, along with a strong background in finance from his time at RBC and pursuing his Bachelor’s Degree in Commerce with a Major in Management.

The Town of Shaunavon, alongside the RMs of Arlington, Grassy Creek, and Bone Creek, is pleased to announce that the Saskatchewan Health Authority (SHA) has approved the implementation of Point of Care Testing (POCT) equipment at the Shaunavon Hospital. Our Councils have been actively working with SHA to address service disruptions in Shaunavon’s Emergency Department caused by temporary lab staff shortages.

The Grand Coteau Heritage & Cultural Centre is seeking two full-time summer students for the positions of Program Assistant and Museum Assistant for the period of May 5 to August 22, 2025 (Can be adjusted to accommodate student availability) Program Assistant duties include: planning, promotion and delivery of summer programs for youth and adults and community events; assisting with planning and delivering school programs; responsibility for summer tourism initiatives.
