NOTICE: QUARTERLY UTILITY BILLS - Postal Strike
With the ongoing Canada Post strike, regular mail service is disrupted. This means:
- Quarterly utility bills are not able to be mailed out. Please stop by the Town Office to pick up your October-December utility bill.
- If you are signed up for our Utility E-bills, they have been sent out as well. If you have not received yours, log into your email account on your browser and check the spam folder.
- While you’re here, pick up your copy of our Town e-newsletter!
- A note from the Shaunavon Standard: newspapers will also not be able to be mailed out — they ask that subscribers please pick up your copy directly at the Shaunavon Standard office if possible.
We understand this is inconvenient, and we truly apologize for the disruption. Unfortunately, the strike is out of our hands, but we’re doing our best to make sure you still receive the information you need.
A reminder that this update was also shared through Voyent Alert! If you haven’t registered yet, we encourage you to sign up today. It’s the quickest way to receive important Town notices straight to your phone or email.
*If you're interested in receiving Utility and Tax notices electronically, you can download The Town of Shaunavon "E-bill Authorization Form” at https://www.shaunavon.com/page/bylaws-policies-forms/
PLEASE NOTE that those signed up for pre-authorized payments will have a note on their bill stating "You are signed up for pre-authorized payments do not pay this bill".
Thank you for your patience and understanding.
