Celebrate Canada Day in Shaunavon! Enjoy a scrumptious FUNDRAISING BRUNCH at the Grand Coteau Heritage and Cultural Centre from 11:30 am to 1:00 pm. Cost by DONATION with proceeds going toward the cost of taxidermy of a cougar specimen for our Museum. MANY THANKS to Rocky Mountain Equipment for their kind sponsorship and to Southwest Rentals Inc.
Age Friendly Shaunavon invites everyone to their office’s Grand Opening on Friday June 23rd from 10am to 12pm! They are located at 420 Centre Street. Pop by for a tour of the office, ribbon cutting at 11am, refreshments and a door prize!
That’s right, S.P.A.R.K. is BACK this summer!! This great youth summer camp is offered by Shaunavon Wellness & Leisure Summer Active partnered with the Grand Coteau Heritage and Cultural Centre. This program is for Ages 6-10 and runs Tuesdays, Wednesdays & Thursdays for 4 weeks - July 4 to July 27.
This year marked the 10th annual Free Garbage Transfer Weekend in Shaunavon and was a busy program once again this year! Town Staff facilitated the transfer site while Helix Ltd supplied and hauled the bins. A total of 31 bins were brought to the Southwest Regional Landfill for disposal, and 12 bins of metal goods were disposed of.
