The Grand Coteau Heritage & Cultural Centre is now accepting registrations for their 2023 Holiday Art Show & Sale which will be held in our Gallery from November 16 to December 20. This event is open to all local professional and emerging artists who wish to display and sell their work at one of Southwest Saskatchewan’s premiere art galleries.

September 23 2023, Hayley Wickenheiser was inducted into the Saskatchewan Sports Hall Of Fame. The Town of Shaunavon would like to formally congratulate Hayley on her induction. She is recognized not only for her career, but for her contributions to hockey, and for females in hockey, across the globe. Hayley Wickenheiser has had an impactful and inspiring life story: from her childhood growing up and playing hockey in Shaunavon, Saskatchewan, to contributing to countless charitable causes, teaching women in India and North Korea how to play hockey, and pursuing a medical degree.

The Town of Shaunavon Office has set its flags to half-mast to recognize National Day for Truth and Reconciliation. September 30th is dedicated as a day to reflect, share, and learn about the history and inter-generational impacts of residential schools.
