We would like to give a heartfelt THANK YOU to the volunteers who rolled up their sleeves and took part in the GoGreen Shaunavon initiative put on by Stark & Marsh CPA LLP & the Town of Shaunavon on Friday September 23rd! Volunteers dedicated the day towards beautification & clean up projects around Shaunavon!

Shawnee and Jubilee Campgrounds are now CLOSED for the season. Our staff are in the process of winterizing the two campgrounds. The Memorial Park public washrooms and the public washrooms on the west side of the Swimming Pool will be closed until the spring. Thank you everyone who camped with us!

Hydrant Flushing Oct 4 & 5

HYDRANT FLUSHING OCTOBER 4 & 5, 2022 On Tuesday October 4th and Wednesday October 5th, hydrant flushing will be underway. Slight discolouration of the water may occur, opening a tap or fixture and allowing the water to run should remove any discolouration. It is also recommended to avoid or reduce the use of hot water during this time if possible.

We are calling all citizens in Shaunavon and the surrounding area to action! The purpose of this communication is to rally businesses and consumers to share our concerns about the limited hours of operation at our extremely vital local border crossings – Port of Climax and Port of Monchy, in the Province of Saskatchewan.

Great job to Corey Gulaga and Riley Malone of the Shaunavon District Fire & Rescue for their achievements at this year’s FireFit Worlds & Canadian National Championships in Spruce Meadows, AB! Corey Gulaga placed 3rd overall in the Chief’s division in the Nationals Championship. Riley Malone, Corey Gulaga and a firefighter from Edmonton competed in the Team Relay and won Silver in the World’s Championship.
