Mayor's Season Greetings

FROM THE DESK OF THE MAYOR Mayor Kyle Bennett has a holiday message to share with the community!

The Town of Shaunavon would like to kindly remind residents that the deadline for payment of 2021 utilities and property taxes is swiftly approaching. Property taxes and Utilities are due on or before December 31, 2021. Please ensure that payments are received in our office on or before this day. If you are mailing a cheque or paying online, please allow 5-7 business days for processing payment.

Today, the Town of Shaunavon’s flags have been lowered to half-mast to recognize the National Day of Remembrance and Action on Violence Against Women. December 6th was designated The National Day of Remembrance and Action on Violence Against Women following the murder of 14 young women at Polytechnique MontrĂ©al on this day in 1989.

The safety of residents and visitors in Shaunavon is one of our top priorities. We continuously strive to make Shaunavon a safe place to live for people of all ages. The addition of Pedestrian Crosswalk Lights in high-traffic areas is one of the ways we are able to help protect pedestrians while crossing the street!
