Shop of Wonders Toy Donation Kickoff - FREE movie - Wonka
The Boomtown Family committee in partnership with MyCityCare is launching their SHOP OF WONDERS campaign this week - an initiative to bring a Christmas shopping experience to those in need this holiday season. Built on dignity and choice, the Shop of Wonders allows parents to personally select gifts for their children in a warm, welcoming space at no charge. To kickoff Toy Donations for the Shop of Wonders, community members are invited to a FREE showing of Wonka at the The Plaza Theatre & Venue (sponsored by Shaunavon Dental Centre - celebrating 20 years of service!) on Friday November 21st at 7:30pm. If you are attending the movie, feel free to bring an unwrapped toy for a kid between the ages of 0 & 18! (Note: This is not mandatory and is NOT required for entry).
New, unwrapped toys can also be dropped off at Meeting Grounds Coffee House & Affinity Credit Union in the decorated donation boxes anytime from Nob 17 to Dec 23rd.
