VOLUNTEERS NEEDED - COMMUNITY CLEANUP DAY 2024

Shaunavon boasts beautiful parks, greenspaces and facilities for residents and travelers to enjoy throughout the year!

We are looking for volunteers to help us clean up our community green spaces to showcase how beautiful Shaunavon is as the weather warms up. This includes the parks, walking trails, campgrounds and any other Town spaces that my need it!

The event will be on TUESDAY MAY 14TH, beginning at two different times throughout the day:

  • The morning clean-up will meet at the CPWC at 10:00 am
  • The evening clean-up will meet at the Randy Surjik Memorial Amphitheater at 6:00 pm. Clean-up supplies and designated areas of clean-up will be provided at each location. We appreciate everyone’s support by lending a hand to keep our community looking beautiful!

The Town of Shaunavon, alongside the RMs of Arlington, Grassy Creek, and Bone Creek, is pleased to announce that the Saskatchewan Health Authority (SHA) has approved the implementation of Point of Care Testing (POCT) equipment at the Shaunavon Hospital. Our Councils have been actively working with SHA to address service disruptions in Shaunavon’s Emergency Department caused by temporary lab staff shortages.

The Grand Coteau Heritage & Cultural Centre is seeking two full-time summer students for the positions of Program Assistant and Museum Assistant for the period of May 5 to August 22, 2025 (Can be adjusted to accommodate student availability) Program Assistant duties include: planning, promotion and delivery of summer programs for youth and adults and community events; assisting with planning and delivering school programs; responsibility for summer tourism initiatives.
