Maintenance II - Public Works Department

Full Time Permanent | In Scope

OVERVIEW:

The Town of Shaunavon is seeking a motivated and dependable individual to join our Operations team. This role supports the maintenance of parks, facilities, streets, and utilities, and helps keep our community running smoothly year-round.

KEY DUTIES:

  • General maintenance & repair work

  • Water and wastewater systems upkeep

  • Street & sidewalk maintenance

  • Operation of trucks, loaders, mowers, Zamboni, etc.

  • On-call rotation required

    ASSETS: Water/Wastewater certification, Pool Operator, Landscape/Mosquito Applicator, or related training.

REQUIREMENTS:

  • Grade 12 or equivalent

  • Valid Class 3 with Air

  • Experience in maintenance or equipment operation

  • Ability to perform physical work in all weather

Wage is as per union agreement.
