Campground Information

Shaunavon is proud to be a business and tourism hub for Southwest Saskatchewan! Camp in Shaunavon at one of our two fully serviced campgrounds that include water, electrical, sewer, showers and washrooms. A total of 19 sites are available with various size specifications to find one suited to your type of travel - camper, tent, or RV! Online Bookings open at the beginning of April. Campgrounds are open May long weekend to mid-September.

With tons of unique shops and restaurants, recreational facilities and cultural programming for all ages, Shaunavon has something for everyone! Be sure to stop by our Visitor Information Centre - The Grand Coteau Heritage & Cultural Centre. This facility houses the Chinook Regional Library, Museum & Art Gallery. The Grand Coteau Heritage & Cultural Centre also has FREE public wifi available.

Sit back and relax or get active and play at Shaunavon’s various parks and lush greenspaces - try your hand at a round of Disc Golf at Shaunavon’s course, or cool off at the outdoor SWT Pool or in the Splash Park!

Shaunavon is situated less then a half day’s drive from some of the best recreation areas in the province. Explore the Grasslands National Park, Frenchmen River Valley, T-Rex Centre, Cypress Hills Interprovincial Park and so much more! Call Shaunavon home while you discover the Southwest!

Campground Policies

CANCELLATION & CHANGES
Check in is at 1:00 PM / Check out is at 11:00 AM. All fees must be paid at the time of reservation. Reservations are refundable up to 48 hours prior to arrival. Failure to provide at least 48 hours cancellation notice prior to arrival will result in the loss of your entire camping fees.

GENERAL INFORMATION

  • Please be respectful of other campers and the facilities.
  • Quiet time is between 10:00 PM and 7:00 AM (As per Noise Bylaw 2010-16), so please turn off outside music and refrain from loud talking/yelling and noise during this time.
  • Please ensure that all personal belongings are removed from the site by 11:00 AM on the day of departure.
  • Be considerate of your neighbours regarding pet litter and barking dogs. Pets must be kept leashed, attended and controlled at all times.
  • Pet litter must be cleaned up. Liquid and solid waste must be disposed of at the sewer dump station.
  • Do not use fireworks, sparklers, or caps at the campsite.

*We are reminding campers that the firepits are for bonfires ONLY (please do not dispose of your garbage or recycling in the firepits - there are bins available on site for campers to utilize). Obey restrictions on fires. Fires may be limited or prohibited at certain times.
