Tickets are available for purchase at the Town of Shaunavon Office (401 3rd St W), Grand Coteau Heritage and Cultural Centre (440 Centre St), W&L Office (2nd Floor LSBLWC) and at The Stable at the Innovation CU I-Plex in Swift Current. Cash or cheque is accepted. Ticket Pricing:

DISC GOLF

DISC GOLF

Disc rentals for the Shaunavon disc golf course will be available to sign out at the Town Office for a deposit of $40 per set, which will be returned once all discs are returned in good-condition. Discs are available for rent over 3 days. If discs are not returned within three days, the deposit will not be refunded. (Disc sets may also be purchased for $40 each!)

OBJECT OF DISC GOLF

  • To play each hole in the fewest throws possible.
  • The player with the fewest total throws for the course wins!

The Town of Shaunavon has the following Lawn Games available for rent:

  • Ladder Ball
  • Spike Ball
  • Yardzee
  • Giant Jenga
  • Bocce Ball
  • Kan Jam
  • Lawn Darts

All lawn games are available for rent at the VWC by contacting the Wellness & Leisure Office at (306) 297-3029. Rentals require a $50 deposit per game. Games can be kept for a max of three days and deposits will be refunded when the games are returned in good condition.

Rent some Disc Golf sets and play a round on our 9-hole Disc Golf Course that follows the Benchview TransCanada Trail and Avondale Park. Disc golf set rentals and purchases are available at the Town Office - $40 deposit for a rental, and $40 to purchase. Sets can be kept for a max of three days and deposits will be refunded when the sets are returned in good condition.

The Shaunavon Splash Park (located in Jubilee Recreation Complex) is FREE to use for the public during the summer months June through August.

KidSport Shaunavon

KidSport Shaunavon
KidSport provides grants to kids from families facing financial barriers so they can participate in registered sport programs and experience the lifelong benefits of a season of sport. KidSport Shaunavon provides grants of up to $750 per eligible child, per year (January 1st - December 31st) towards sport registration fees.
  • KidSport grants are intended to be used for sport registration fees.
  • Equipment, dance, camps (including sport camps), specialized training, high performance sports, travel, clothing, tournaments, fundraising fees, volunteer fees and competitions are not eligible for funding. Grants cannot be used for programs/seasons of sport that have already concluded or started in the previous year.
  • KidSport recommends applying a minimum of 30 days prior to the start of the sport season. Applications submitted after the start of the sport season may not be eligible for funding.

Eligibility Requirements KidSport Shaunavon uses the following eligibility requirements to determine eligibility for grants:

  • Families that are low-income and facing financial barriers.
  • Grants are for children and youth 5 to 18 years of age.
  • Amateur sport programs.
  • The sport activity has not started.
  • Costs related to camps, travel, tournaments, clothing, championships, high performance, fundraising fees do not qualify.
  • Dance is not covered.
  • Generally accepted sport activities are those recognized and/or sanctioned by the member organizations of Sask Sport Inc.

  • Season passes: $150 *Please note: Drop-In Fees CANNOT be accrued towards a season pass. Season fees due immediately payable by cheque to Town of Shaunavon or etransfer to shaunavon@sasktel.net. Ensure you are stating in the memo who and what the fee is for.

Season runs from beginning of September to end of May. Ages 16+

SaskLotteries Community Grant Program APPLICATION OPEN: Click here for the 2026 Application - DUE APRIL 17, 2026.

  • Submit your application to Shaunavon Wellness and Leisure at recreation@shaunavon.com with a financial statement from your organization from your most current yearend.
  • Applicants must fully and legibly complete the application form. Complete the project description and other required information on the application form.
  • Local organizations are notified regarding the status of their application.
  • Applicants proceeding with programs: Saskatchewan Lotteries must be acknowledged in advertising & programming (Contact the W&L Office for Sask Lotteries promotional materials).
  • Applicants must consult with the W&L Office if a change of project is necessary. Only expenses approved in the initial application are eligible.
  • Applicants must complete project follow-up reports, attach receipts to verify their expenditures and attach a sample of how SK Lotteries was acknowledged. Grant cheques will be issued to the organization by the the Town of Shaunavon, once the follow-up report and supporting documents have been submitted.

  • Tuesdays and Thursdays at 9am at VWC lobby. $5 per class - 40 mins. Bring water, shoes and 2 small weights

Terry Fox Run 2026

Join us for Shaunavon’s annual Terry Fox Run on THURSDAY SEPTEMBER 24, 2026! Click here for details and donations Register at LSBL Wickenheiser Centre at 10am, Run Starts at 10:30am! SHS, SPS and CKS all welcome the community to join in and end at the LSBLWC for a community BBQ at 11:30am! A map will be available soon of the route.
