WELLNESS CHALLENGE WINNERS

The team with the highest average of Wellness Points was SHAUNAVON FIRE & FAMILY with a final average of 242.6! Congratulations! Their team will win the team prize of a value of $250 to put towards any physical activity or health program.

And for our healthy rivalry with the City of Swift Current, the winner is . . . SHAUNAVON!! The town of Shaunavon ended with an average of 211 points and the City of Swift Current with an average of 179 points! Well done everyone! Our teams all did a fantastic job at their very first Wellness Challenge; it was fun to have this healthy rivalry between our communities. Thanks again to Swift Current for including our community in your 12th Annual Wellness Challenge!

For being Shaunavon’s first year taking part, the participation and positive support from the community was incredible! Shaunavon had a total of 10 teams registered, for a total of 105 participants. So, THANK YOU to everyone who joined us in this challenge.

“We cannot thank Val Choo-Foo of the City of Swift Current enough for inviting us to participate in their 12th Annual Wellness Challenge. The help and resources we received along the way made this program very streamline to offer to our community! We hope everyone enjoyed the challenge and is able to continue incorporating some healthy habits into their daily routines!” – Dana Dale, Shaunavon Director of Wellness & Leisure.

Another big shoutout to the Grand Coteau Centre for sharing their facility (and some delicious snacks) to host the Virtual Lunch N’ Learn presentations - it was wonderful to engage in these sessions with your Wellness team!
