Co-Ed Spring Basketball League
Co-ed spring basketball league is BACK!
Anyone eligible to play senior basketball in the upcoming year and older is welcome to participate.
Here are the details:
WHEN: Tuesday & Thursday Evenings starting April 30th to early June
WHERE: Shaunavon High School
COST: $20 for high school participants & $30 for non-high school participants
REGISTER BY APRIL 22ND - Drop off registration forms and fees at the Shaunavon High School

KidSport Application Form
KidSport helps children of families facing financial obstacles to participate in sport, so that no kid is left on the sidelines. Click HERE to access the Individual Application Form
Who is eligible to receive a KidSport grant?
• Families that are low-income and facing financial barriers.
• Grants are for children and youth 5 to 18 years of age.
• Amateur sport programs.
What does KidSport cover?
• Sport registration fee
• Children could be eligible for up to, but not guaranteed financial support of $750.00 per child per calendar year (Jan-Dec).
KidSport Guidelines
• Applications must be filled out completely and appropriate documentation submitted.
• Applications must be submitted before the start date of the sport activity.
• KidSport does not fund team fees, camps, travel, tournaments, championships, high performance, sports field trips, specialized training, fitness memberships, swim passes, dance, etc.

• Generally accepted sport activities are those recognized and/or sanctioned by the member organizations of Sask Sport.

SaskLotteries Community Grant Program
SaskLotteries Community Grant Program 2024 Application - DUE APRIL 19, 2024
- Submit your application to the Wellness and Leisure Committee at recreation.shaunavon@sasktel.net with a financial statement from your organization from your most current yearend.
- Applicants must fully and legibly complete the application form. Complete the project description and other required information on the application form.
- Local organizations are notified regarding the status of their application.
- Applicants proceeding with programs: Saskatchewan Lotteries must be acknowledged in advertising & programming (Call the Rec. Office for FREE promotional materials).
- Applicants must consult with the Recreation Office if a change of project is necessary. Only expenses approved in the initial application are eligible.
- Applicants must complete project follow-up reports, attach receipts to verify their expenditures and attach a sample of how SK Lotteries was acknowledged. Grant cheques will be issued to the organization by the Wellness & Leisure Committee, once the follow-up report and supporting documents have been submitted. 2024 follow-ups must be submitted by April 30th, 2025.

Drop-In Pickleball League:
- When: Tuesday and Wednesday evenings beginning October 17th until end of April
- Time: 6:30pm - 8:30pm
- Where: Shaunavon Public School Gym
- Ages: 16+ years
- Cost: Free
Walking Program:
- When: Monday, Tuesday & Thursday beginning October 16th until end of April
- Where: CPWC Lobby & Bleachers
- Times: 9 – 11am
- Cost: Free
Senior Fitness Classes
- When: Wednesdays and Fridays
- Where: CPWC downstairs lobby
- Time: 10am - 10:45 am
- Cost: $5
- Led by Good Habit Fitness
Co-Ed Recreation Volleyball League

ME TIME
Let’s Talk Sourdough with Melanie Graven from Blue Dog Cafe (Eastend) Tuesday, April 23, 2024 @ 6:30 p.m. Grand Coteau Centre Gallery
Melanie’s presentation will discuss the history, development, maintenance, and versatility of sourdough in the home kitchen. Spoiler Alert – it’s great for more than just bread! She will also bring samples of a variety of her sourdough treats.
